Growing into a vibrant congregation continues to be the journey this church has experienced since it was chartered in 1890, with the current sanctuary built in 1904 and updated in past years.
It sits in the historic district of Gray Court, on the hill just behind the Gray Court business district. It is also sometimes known as a “church you can’t see from the main road.”
Gray Court United Methodist was the church home of the Grays, the founding members of Gray Court.
With its rich history in the community, this church continues into the future as a place to ensure that everyone is welcome and provided opportunities for learning and growing and to be in mission in the community and throughout the world.
